MISSIONAL LIVING
We define missional living as intentionally speaking, acting, and showing the Gospel wherever we go. This involves more than mission trips; it gets down even to the granular level of our daily decision-making: how can we leverage where we live, conversations we have, things we own, talents we have, and our God-given personhood to connect people with Jesus at home, in the workplace, at school, out with friends, and interacting with people in the world every day?
Church, how are we doing with living intentionally, boldly, and on-mission?

Comments:
From the VAST majority of feedback, it seems that many of us may still equate "Missional Living" with "going on a mission trip."
Ephesians 4:11-14 tells us that the job of church leaders is to "equip the saints for the work of ministry...so that we may no longer be...tossed to and fro..." Living missionally demonstrates spiritual maturity and increasing Christ-likeness. Jesus calls us to go make disciples, and we are to go all over the world without neglecting those in our backyard (Acts 1:8 = Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth).
One of our main goals as Pastors is to constantly exhort and equip every WRBC member to adapt our thinking toward a fully missional mindset. All Christians are responsible to "stir each other up toward love and good works" (Heb 10:24).
I am encouraged to see how far our church has come even in the months since we took this survey! There are stories coming in from several about missional opportunities that have proven to be super effective - we are excited to share those with you soon!
